Ben King

Benjamin King is a commercial litigator and creditors’ rights attorney who has particular expertise in protecting creditors’ interests through the use of prejudgment remedies such as attachment, receiverships, and injunctive remedies. He has represented national financial institutions, a number of California lenders, and receivers in, among other matters, actions involving the exercise of loan remedies, workouts of troubled loans, and actions for foreclosure upon loan collateral. Benjamin has litigated matters on behalf of creditors in both pre-bankruptcy and bankruptcy contexts, including lender liability actions, real-estate loan disputes, contract disputes, judicial foreclosures, receivership actions, fraudulent conveyance matters, adversary proceedings (including preference actions), non-dischargeability actions, and a variety of business tort disputes.

Jarrett Osborne-Revis

Jarrett Osborne-Revis is a Senior Counsel in Buchalter’s Sacramento office, and a member of the Firm’s Litigaton Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing financial institutions and business entities in commercial, business, and bankruptcy litigation. He regularly represents banks and financial institutions, as well as corporations, large and small, in numerous areas of law including real estate, banking, receivership law, commercial litigation, judgment enforcement, and insolvency. He has extensive experience handling lender liability actions, bankruptcy, insolvency law, creditors’ rights, real estate disputes, loan workouts and restructuring, receiverships, and litigation involving business torts and contract law. He was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyers ” Rising Star” from 2019-2022.

Ryan Baker

Ryan Baker has extensive regulatory receivership, operating company and real estate receivership experience. He has been appointed on or managed 80+ Receiver, Provisional Director, Trustee and Partition Referee cases. These projects and appointments include regulatory matters, operating companies and real estate.

Mr. Baker has been involved with assisting in a number of regulatory receivership appointments originating from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and State Courts. Mr. Baker has directly managed the operations and provided financial oversight for companies and properties with gross revenue ranging from $700k to $15 million. His experience includes management, financial oversight and forensic accounting.

Scott Sackett

Scott Sackett is the co-founder of Fiduciary Management Technologies (FMT). Mr. Sackett has served in roles as Receiver and Disbursing Agent in insolvency and class action matters. Through FMT he has provided Receivership, Case Management, Claims Management, Disbursing Agent, and other fiduciary services for over 10 years. He is the developer of accounting software products used by receivers, bankruptcy trustees, dispursing agents, conservators, attorneys, insolvency professionals, and property managers in the management of estates and the administration of their duties as fiduciaries. He is an experienced property manager and real estate investment analyst and has served as a panelist at receivership educational conferences advising on issues of case management and the preparation of Final reports and Accountings. He is a past chair and the current State Representative of the California Receivers Forum – Sacramento Valley Chapter.
